+1 It’s good that a few of Trump’s mistakes are easily remedied. |
|
And the DOJ (the taxpayer) is paying his $540,000 legal bill.
Thanks Trump. You should be the one paying this. If you had any honor. Or money. |
| That’s quite the settlement McCabe got. I guess DOJ recognized how fundamentally improper this was by the Trump administration. |
It was so obviously just Trump trying to avenge a perceived slight. He’s just a freakish bully. |
Who is surprised that Biden's DOJ agreed to settle with McCabe in this manner? |
No lawyers are surprised by this settlement. No FBI employees should be. No employers or employees anywhere should be surprised. Are you employed? |
| So he didn’t lie to investigators? |
+1 This was a given. Trump was wrong. |
Yes. Yes, he did. But, this is Biden's DOJ now. Lying doesn't seem to matter if you're on "the right side." |
Can't say I expected a different outcome. When they refused to prosecute him, it opened the door for him to sue. |
Sen. Lindsey Graham to Rod Rosenstein: “Did [McCabe] ever lie to you? Rod Rosenstein, under oath: “No. McCabe was not fully candid with me.” |
The IG said he lacked candor. Trump fired him to be vindictive. Not for whatever lie he may have told. And the president can't just fire civil servants because he doesn't like them. |
By “they” you mean the grand jury, right? That’s who refused to prosecute him. The DOJ certainly tried. |
