The Cheh bill would allow them to go faster on the road than they are allowed now. If they go 15MPH on the road, they should be fine in quiet DC side streets. And of course a third place for them to ride is in bike lanes, which there should be more of. |
I'm fine with bike lanes. I'm not fine with them sharing the regular lane with me. I'm very against them on the sidewalks. Bikes aren't allowed on the sidewalks in the business district so these things shouldn't be either. |

Haters just jealous
|
How is this relevant to banning scooters? |
Yeah, read this: build more protected bike/scooter lanes. A whole network of them. Then scooter and bike riders have a safe place to move. That also means fewer cars on the road. Win/win! |
Yes. Even if it means 1. fewer lanes for drivers 2. less parking for cars Put them everywhere. |
Sure, on your roads. When you are operating on our roads, then it's our choice. |
| They need to be banned completely |
So you think they’re *your* roads, that’s really what you’re implying, isn’t it? Because I’m inclined to agree with the PP |
If you think scooters are bad as they are now.. wait until dogs will start using them taking themselves for a walk..
|
If you give this dog electric scooter.. you would never see him again.
|
Gather here everybody, we have bigger problem then we originally thought... they truly went to dogs...
|
Agree. They are a menace. People who operate them do not need a license or insurance so if they HIT SOMEONE - what happens? They do not wear helmets? At least the jackass bikers do. They are ugly and left WHEREVER in neighborhoods. It's all too much. |
| The reason why I hate them is that they exist to harvest user data. Y’all really think a Chinese company gives a tinkers damn about getting you from point A to point B? Hell naw. They have your contacts, know who you are visiting and when. That’s why y’all dumb af for using them. |
Wait are you talking about scooters or Facebook? |
