My kids are older now but we enjoyed many of Wolftrap's Children's Theater-in-the-Woods shows. Such great memories!
And the PP above is correct in that the venue is smaller and set up in a more casual way for little kids so there is not as much pressure on them to sit still. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and introduce my kids to theater and productions! |
I don't mind the prices but I am tired of the calendar being the same acts over and over, year after year. Let's change it up! |
Wolftrap tickets are outrageously expensive this year. We used to go to 4-5 shows a year. Lawn tickets have gone up from $20-$30 to $50-$60 in the past 5-10 years. That's a huge increase and this year there just weren't any shows that we wanted to see so badly that we were willing to spend that much to risk the weather for a lawn seat. Inside seats were starting at $100+. I know they've been creeping up but this year seemed like a big jump. |
