Being anti-LGBT isn't a legitimately Christian thing. Nowhere in the Bible did Jesus ever demand or advocate for homophobia and anti-LGBT behavior. Nowhere. Call it old-Testament or whatever you like but don't call it Christian. Don't use Jesus as cover for your bigotry.

Were they closed at the airport or another governmental entity? Because no one cares if CFA Fairfax closes on Sunday. They care when it’s under a lease administered by the government though.

From a practical standpoint, I don't see how they could afford the rent being open 6 days a week in an airport.

Here is an interesting article about CFA at MSP airport.
The bottom line? Chick-Fil-A is making more money being open only 6 days than almost all the other businesses are being open 7. The only two that make more are McDonald's and Subway.

It's facts like these that drive the liberals crazy.

Exactly. CFA could take the airport or leave it. It's not like they need the business.

Then, why do we have a 6 page thread full of people whining because they lost a bid for one airport berth?

Nobody cares that CFA is closed in Sunday. It’s that the owners/founders actively support anti-gay organizations and bigotry.

FCA and Salvation Army are not anti-gay nor bigoted.
Recognizing traditional marriage is NOT "anti-gay." Hell, even your hero Obama was against gay marriage when he ran for president.

Exactly!

Of course recognizing “traditional marriage” is bigoted because by default you reject non traditional marriage - e.g. that a man and man or woman and woman marry as “unnatural” or “unholy”. That is the definition of bigotry.

Interesting how many posters are not just manufacturing crap to validate CFA but doing some crazy mental gymnastics to support them.

I’m fascinated by the mental Gymnastics. You know who isn’t? Young people who love Gay people. They’re leaving the church both because it’s nonsense and because it’s bigoted. The molestation stuff is not helping.

That's not been my experience ever. Not in the Northeast.

If CFA doesn’t want to be open Sunday, fine. Their decision as a private business. It might mean they can’t meet the lease terms of the public airport though. That’s not discrimination. It’s feeding hungry travelers.

CFA doesn’t want equal treatment. It wants special religious accommodation in a public airport. NOPE. I am so over religious entities that demand the freedom to practice their religion AND want to force everyone else to conform to their religious beliefs too.

You do you. If I’m traveling on a Sunday, I want the airport restaurant to serve lunch. I’m not really interested in being told to go hungry so CFA can keep holy the Sabbath.

Only in Ted Cruzlandia...

exactly my thoughts! If the goal is to provide food for travelers, a business which is open ALL travel days should have dibs, especially if space is limited

Unlike in the mall, I can't just walk or drive to chipotle. Some small airports may only have one or two vendors per terminal
I have been in terminals with no hot food options

For every nickel a misguided person withholds from the Salvation Army, I contribute a dollar. The liberal big city governments cannot care for the poor, illegal immigrants, and homeless that they pull into their cities currying their votes. The Salvation Army fills a need as do the many programs run by churches, including an Assrmbly of God church in Arlington which serves meals daily. These many religious organizations have members with varying beliefs about non traditional marriage, and they also believe in extending help to those who need it. Shame on the bigots who do not let people hold their religious beliefs, the founding precept of the United States.

Rant and rave, boycot and bluster. That is the right you enjoy; let others exercise their rights.

Yet you are with us today. Bravo for your fortitude in not having a hot meal.

That’s because those are dying economies and people can’t afford to eat out. The liberal taxation policies are decimating the northeast.

In the DC area, they are usually packed. I don't like their policies, but their hate chicken is absolutely delicious, and customer service is wonderful.

If a business has a good product, most people will buy it no matter what.

Agree. Even in Manhattan the lines are down the sidewalks. Hateful Libs can keep on screaming. They just can't control what hungry people want to eat.

Hateful libs. Do you know how hypocritical you sound? You are proud to discriminate and pay for conversion therapy that increases suicide rates.

Um, who exactly is "paying for conversion therapy"? You sound completely unhinged. Meanwhile, I can't wait until tomorrow when CFA is open.
