The Christian Fellowship Athletes take an oath to sexual purity. Shit! No sex???? Who do they think they are?

You hateful Liberals are insufferable.

Why in a capitalist society does CFA get to close on Sundays in a public airport, when all the other businesses have to be open during airport hours? CFA isn’t asking to be treated equally. They are asking for special treatment. In a governmental or quasi governmental facility. Based on religion. That’s unconstitutional.

Y’all just aren’t so special that airport travelers need to stop eating one day a week so you can pray. Sometimes practicing your religion means sacrifice. Like not getting an airport lease.

Since you feel so very put upon by having to follow the same rules as everyone else while practicing your religion, maybe Ask all the Muslims fasting for Ramadan— including pro athletes not drinking even water from sunrise to sunset what walking the walk feels like #FakeChristians.

The airports report that their customers keep requesting CFA - even if it's closed on Sundays. Imagine that.

And my 18 year olds keep requesting beer at restaurants. Doesn’t mean it’s legal to serve them.

Nobody cares that CFA is closed in Sunday. It’s that the owners/founders actively support anti-gay organizations and bigotry.

But they don't, as has been explained repeatedly on this thread. Continuing to insist that they do does not make it so.

Were they closed at the airport or another governmental entity? Because no one cares if CFA Fairfax closes on Sunday. They care when it’s under a lease administered by the government though.

From a practical standpoint, I don't see how they could afford the rent being open 6 days a week in an airport.

Here is an interesting article about CFA at MSP airport.
The bottom line? Chick-Fil-A is making more money being open only 6 days than almost all the other businesses are being open 7. The only two that make more are McDonald's and Subway.

It's facts like these that drive the liberals crazy.

Exactly. CFA could take the airport or leave it. It's not like they need the business.

Your tiny little drop in the bucket will not even register, but it's certainly your prerogative. Boycotting, along with marching, is certainly in the liberals' wheelhouse.

FCA and Salvation Army are not anti-gay nor bigoted.
Recognizing traditional marriage is NOT "anti-gay." Hell, even your hero Obama was against gay marriage when he ran for president.

Exactly!

If CFA doesn’t want to be open Sunday, fine. Their decision as a private business. It might mean they can’t meet the lease terms of the public airport though. That’s not discrimination. It’s feeding hungry travelers.

CFA doesn’t want equal treatment. It wants special religious accommodation in a public airport. NOPE. I am so over religious entities that demand the freedom to practice their religion AND want to force everyone else to conform to their religious beliefs too.

You do you. If I’m traveling on a Sunday, I want the airport restaurant to serve lunch. I’m not really interested in being told to go hungry so CFA can keep holy the Sabbath.

Only in Ted Cruzlandia...

Boycott CFA. Problem solved.

Many restaurants are closed on Mondays.

Yes they do. I am referring to myriad articles from reputable sources - far more trustworthy than this thread - that document how the owner not only has spoke out against gay marriage but supported groups that believe that gays can be “converted” to straight and that oppose and lobby against gay rights.

You are lying.

Of course recognizing “traditional marriage” is bigoted because by default you reject non traditional marriage - e.g. that a man and man or woman and woman marry as “unnatural” or “unholy”. That is the definition of bigotry.

Interesting how many posters are not just manufacturing crap to validate CFA but doing some crazy mental gymnastics to support them.

Nope that’s not why the “libs” are fuming. We actually lobby harder than the right and the GOP for worker rights. It concerns us when “religious beliefs” are used to discriminate against people and/or perpetuate bigotry. But you do you ... whatever hateful, anti lib thing that is.

I have spent a lot of time in that airport, unfortunately.

The food options there suck.

“Worker rights”? Like in China, or what? My ultra Liberal employer would have me work 80 hours a week, WITHOUT overtime, if I let her.

Do you read the news and follow legislation over the past 10 years that affects middle class workers?

Do you know history and the background of workers rights in this country?

Do you actually listen and observe which politicians and parties are advocating for workers and the middle class in this country - from living wages to protections for workers who are injured to outsource ing jobs overseas? Not just pandering to workers but then doing something different (GOP) but actually fighting for workers and following through?

Because if you did any of these things, you would not say something as silly as what you posted above. Information - get some.
