2006 ECNL is up.
Does anyone know the numbers and know how many kids they ended up keeping from last year and how many are from outside?
Any scoop? They only took 16.

Sixteen is about right. What that means is that they feel some green players are on the bubble and they want the ability to move them up when the needs arises. They also kept enough space to easily wrap up the next Mia Hamm in case she moves into town. Pretty standard. If anything, it may be high

But do you (or others) know anything about who was taken (or not taken) in that 16? Anyone have the scoop or recognize the tryout numbers?

When are they announcing ECNL boys? 2003, 2004 and 2006 boys teams have not been posted.

Sorry, can't help you. I really don't mean any offense, but even if I did I wouldn't post them here and I doubt anyone else will either.

good grief. Not names. I am meaning a general sense of --did they take new players? did they keep the roster intact? where did the new kids come from?

The 07s have been untouched by him and are one of the better teams in the area. They aren't going to take an outside player on to that top team and mess up the chemistry unless she is demonstrably better than who they already have. It's really a completely understandable situation.

Has he ever coached a winning age group?

No. But he kicked a soccer ball at his own bench players ... my daughter was sitting there.
