No, they pull from Nadir's Total Futbol for the highest level teams in many cases. They are good. Clyde is good, but there are better places to develop. All depends on the coach and team.
Let's be fair, before kids arrive at MYS they have been developed and MYS teaches them how to play the game at an elite level.
Partially true. But it is VERY coach dependent. McLean is very good at bringing in girls at the U15-U18 levels and bouncing McLean developed girls.
Isn't every club? I have had kids at a number of the top clubs and they're all like this. There is no loyalty anywhere. I've actually found McLean to be better than others.
In general the statement can be made, but some clubs, like FCV, have top coaches for every top team (2nd and 3rd teams are not so luckly in most cases).
I will agree there is absolutely very little loyalty. If a better player comes in, someone is getting cut. But IMO that is how it should be. These kids are NOT going to get EVERYTHING they want in life. First choice of college, boyfriend/girlfriend, job...they have to learn to deal with this. Unfortunately, not everyone can compete at the DA and in some cases ECNL (although quality is terrible in this region) and will get cut.
