Oh well. OP can listen to something else. |
Also, from Mick and Keith:
When I'm ridin' 'round the world And I'm doin' this and I'm signin' that And I'm tryin' to make some girl pregnant Baby, better come back maybe next week Can't you see I'm on a losing streak? |
You are six years too late with this given that song was on published -- and popular -- in 2013. Try again. Get in formation, at least. |
Um, what? |
You didn't know that's what he was really singing on the record? It's muddled, but it's well-known that's what Jagger was saying. Listen closely to the song and you'll hear it. |
Also, for those who think 60s music was clean compared to today:
In the Beatles song Girl, the noise they make after they sing "Giiiirrrll" is a clear reference to basically an orgasm. Also, in the background when Lennon sings "she's the kind of girl who puts you down ..." the rest of them are singing "tit" over and over again. They hide it fairly well by singing it fast, but they've said that's what they're saying. |
I do not like Beyonce.
However, I do love squeeze box. How you can compare these ambiguous tame lyrics from ?1976 to the blatant nastiness...... Plus, you get an Inauguration gig, practice, practice, sing with all your heart...if you're going to lip sync, step down and let an artist confident in their live abilities do the job.... |

She's always been hit or miss with me. I love Love on Top for instance but found Single Ladies to be an embarrassment - hated that song while everyone else just raved about it. |
It's all about your standards. Some people would consider explicit lyrics about sex combined with neglect of the kids in favor of sex to be "disgusting." |
It's Alicia. And didn't she start sleeping with her now husband when he was someone else's husband? And wasn't she pregnant when she got married? |
Eric Clapton sang an ode to Cocaine, but, Beyonce is vulgar and dangerous for society. Mkay. |
If you’re talking about squeezebox, the lyrics aren’t explicit. That’s why the song can be played on mainstream radio stations in earshot of general audiences. It’s all about the double entendre, which Beyoncé wouldn’t recognize if it poked her in the face repeatedly- in and out and in and out. |
![]() Got to get you into my life (Beatles) was literally an ode to pot. The Drifters wrote a song about having sex under a boardwalk. |
Okay okay enough with the comparisons already.
If the OP and others want to hate on Beyoncé let em they can disapprove all they want doesn't and pout till they're blue in the face, who cares, it's not gonna stop Beyoncé from being her bad self or stop her fans from loving her for being her bad self. Haters gonna hate. |
