Laura has never said drinking was involved. She did state the parents of the deceased friend asked her to not attend the funeral which maybe suggest foul play but maybe not.

I assume they rushed it so that HW would be there to see it. I don't love the fit of the dress, or the way she is standing in some of the photos, but otherwise it looks like a nice family ceremony. Jenna's kids are adorable. I don't like Jenna's dress, but I do think Jenna looks 100% better than Barbara.

I really don't like Laura's dress. I'm about the be a mother of the bride and so want to avoid the frumpy mother of the bride look, which is what Laura s dress screams. Everything from the embroidery to the fit is MofB.

She looks gorgeous and happy, as does Jenna. I absolutely love Laura Bush's dress. Barbara looked great in her gown, but it did need to be up higher on her chest. That's my only criticism.

They have completely different body types/frames. Jenna is rounder and heavier and Barbara is tall and lean. Nothing wrong with either of them. Stop body-shaming those who happen to be skinnier than you.

I disagree about Laura's dress. Mother of the bride, to me, is some kind of taffeta suit - yuck. Laura looked fresh and not at all MofB-ish.
