Over 40 and married do you wax completely “down there”?

42, no. Summer keep it short and thin. Winter, let it grow.

You can be neatly groomed without removing everything.

The pedophile thing is absurd. A grown woman looks nothing like a little girl, hair or no. Is it also "pedophile-ish" to prefer your husband's face clean-shaven?

It's just hair. Some men (and women) prefer the feel and aesthetic of smooth skin (or full bush, or anything in between). Don't try to make it pathological.

hmm.
Well, I was raped at an age where there was no hair down there, so to me it is triggering to have no hair during sex.
Also, I can see how, to this person's husband, it might make them think of little girls, and cause him to lose the desire for sex. You simultaneously said it's ok for people to like what they like while saying what this man doesn't like "absurd".

I wouldn’t say icky, but I do find his public hair very unruly and wild. I wouldn’t mind if he groomed it a little - a mini golf lawn instead of a jungle. I’d find it very weird if he completely shaved it though.

As a recently divorced man I can attest the 30-40 crowd (at least in the dating pool) is uniformly taking some or most off... Some landing strips and the like, couple just trimmed, few are fully 100% bare. I assume the married crowd at this age is still in the letting it go phase.

Multiple people on this thread mentioned their husband's finding it to be pedophile-ish. It's a common reaction.

Yep. I don’t think DH actually know what a little girl looks like other than hairless. So he is uncomfortable with bare. I want him to be comfortable because I want to have lots of sex with him. Thus, I keep some hair.

I think it's really creepy that your husband's mind goes straight to "little girl" when his fully grown wife removes pubic hair. Yikes.

Are all these "pedophile-ish" men all turned off when they watch porn, in which women's pubic hair is pretty much unheard of? Doubt it!

There’s a lot of “Hairy” porn for those turned off by bare. Tumblr in particular is great for finding bodies that haven’t been completely shaved. Or spray tanned. Or surgically enhanced.

I dont know why but this feels like very heterosexual behavior. Lesbian culture is not at all heavy on the toddler look for twats. Hair is what makes a woman look like a woman. No hair is prepubescent. Is nobody making this connection? It's very borderline for the pedo gaze imho.

Hell no - 49 only trim and shave my bikini line all my life. I am British though - maybe not as common to wax completely down there as it is in the US.
