It is not a guarantee of admission as I know it’s one of the hardest but we have got a our sites set on this. We have also applied to the Langley School and after doing some research , Norwood and also Bullis. Hope all goes well!

OP, You’re giving other Indians such a bad rep. Go away

St Pats is very wasp, not a good fit for Asians.

My kids go to GDS and there are definitely some Indian or half-Indian kids. I think more to the point the OP is looking for a place where the
kids won't feel left out, since he/she mentioned feeling that way at their school. GDS works hard at it's mission of inclusion and diversity.
I can honestly say my kids have friends of many different races and the school works hard on identity issues. My kids are middle school however
and I don't know the numbers diversity-wise in the High school

+1 I’m South Asian American and I think OP is either a FOB (fresh off the boat), which explains the cluelessness and the poor English.

Northern VA is a much better mileu for indian kids - private school in western fairfax county (eg nysmith) - same mix as the Bay Area

Good luck applying to Sidwell just because you know someone. Unless these "cousins" are on the Board for Sidwell or very very well connected, I don't think a referral from them will suffice. Sidwell's admission is one of the most rigorous in the area and even siblings get rejected. So be prepared for bad news if that comes...

I grew up in Montgomery county and went to a public school here and I enjoyed it but I feel that my kids should go to a private school . I am indian and I would like to know which school has the most number of Indians in their school so my kids wouldn’t feel left out. I’m not trying to be racist or anything but just making sure that my kids can fit in. I live near the North Potomac/Potomac border but don’t mind driving. Thanks

Georgetown Visitation for your daughter and, since you don't mind driving, Gonzaga for your son.

Joking, right? She didn’t mention anything about being Catholic.

Holton would be a good option for your daughter. My daughter attends and is Asian and she has several Indian friends. It is in MoCo and rather diverse.

Why would you think it is a troll?
Anonymous
Hey guys, OP Here Again: After going away for some time and returning to read what has happened in the past few days, I do feel sad that people still think that I am a "Troll" and that some people are saying that I am an insult to Indians; how so. Is the fact that me wanting to make sure that my kids will have a lot of opportunities to make friends an "insult", and I find it really fascinating that someone would say that I'm not from Wootton. I clearly would know because I graduated from there but can't help all the people who make time in their day to bash me or just call me a troll. If your that hangup on asking such questions, by all means, constructive criticism is welcomed, but making fun of me and calling me insults is above and beyond. I clearly must have upset some Indians who clearly find it "astonishing" that an "Indian", that's right, an "Indian", just wants to make sure that her kids have other classmates who are of Indian origin. If you find this utterly disgusting and you foam at the mouth just by reading what I say and criticize my English, just go away. Of course, this is the internet and people will still do anything in order to boost their ego in order to make themselves feel better at the expense of another. So far, still waiting on the applications. I know it was very very late but they still managed to accept it. Please, making positive posts would be nice as the people who make fun of me on this forum, are no different then the bullies I faced in high school and who actually forced me to turn to the private school system and to make sure that my kids will feel welcomed in their school. Again, people will continue to call me a troll but I know that there are some genuine people on here who are willing to giving positive feedback and are just looking out for me. Thanks again for all those who helped me.
