Caps lost there first two at home in round 1 and we saw how that turned out- not to mention the caps history of blowing leads. I wouldn't be thinking brooms at all.

I hear you but those were close overtime losses. These were blow out perfect games. Caps getting stronger and stronger. Keep pouring it on

Boy... that was a disappointing game last night. Caps didn't show last night. It reminded me of how TB played Game 1. We also had too many stupid penalties.

Sloppy, sloppy puck handling last night.

I think they play worse at home than away.

They seem to get a little nervous at home. zero expectations in away games. They took way too many completely avoidable penalties and did not defend well.

That said, they had just won four in a row. It is difficult to maintain that level of intensity and perfection. Hopefully they will regroup and come back STRONG tomorrow. They can make the necessary adjustments. And maybe Niky is healthy with two more days off?

This game was even worse than Game 3. We were the dominant team for most of the game. Took more than twice as many shots on goal. And yet...

The turning point was when the Caps finally killed the Lightning's power play, only to have the Lightning score less than a second later.

So frustrating.

Eller can’t replace Backstrom. Glad to see him back. His right hand was x2 as big as his left hand on the game day but he still played. Tough SOB. Good luck tonight!

Ah, these are the Caps that I have come to know and love. Can't wait to attend Monday to see them get closed out.
