Am I entitled to any govt support if my ex spouse is fairly well off but won’t pay?

OP - is your husband agreeable to keeping you on the green card application or not? Because that's the main question, you know. If he insists on filing for divorce, you are SOL, because you WILL have to leave the country, quite possibly without your child. If he files for custody, he will get it as courts tend to side with citizens of their countries.
