| Has anyone actually seen a snowflake? |
|
No because the weather reports say no snow until after midnight.
Go do your homework or write your lesson plans. |
| Its a bust do your homework kids |
If they'd have 2 weeks of school this month, that would be pretty good considering it's the 16th, and there have been two holidays already. |
Do the ones I gave birth to count? |
| WTF, Arlington? 2 hour delay? What are they looking at? |
| Fairfax announces two hour delay. |
|
YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
Break out the hot chocolate
|
Ha! |
We have snow blanketing everything, and unless salted will turn to ice after just a few people walk thru it. |
| Arlington closed for less snow than this just a few weeks ago. I'm not a wimp, but not completely sure how they're going to get to most side streets in 2 hours with snow still ongoing and temperatures below freezing. |
It is easier in the light, I think the delay is more for light under the snowy circumstances- so kids can be seen. |
Get a life, I beg you |
| My street is a snow emergency route in Arlington - a very wide road. It is covered in snow. There seems to have been one lane plowed in the middle of the road ie along the center line. |
| The roads in NW DC near AU are very slippery, I'm surprised there are no delays for the private schools in this area. People are sliding & a few cars had to pull over because they couldn't climb the hills. |
