School Snow Delay Wednesday?

Has anyone actually seen a snowflake?
Anonymous
No because the weather reports say no snow until after midnight.
Go do your homework or write your lesson plans.

If they'd have 2 weeks of school this month, that would be pretty good considering it's the 16th, and there have been two holidays already.

We have snow blanketing everything, and unless salted will turn to ice after just a few people walk thru it.

Arlington closed for less snow than this just a few weeks ago. I'm not a wimp, but not completely sure how they're going to get to most side streets in 2 hours with snow still ongoing and temperatures below freezing.

It is easier in the light, I think the delay is more for light under the snowy circumstances- so kids can be seen.

My street is a snow emergency route in Arlington - a very wide road. It is covered in snow. There seems to have been one lane plowed in the middle of the road ie along the center line.

The roads in NW DC near AU are very slippery, I'm surprised there are no delays for the private schools in this area. People are sliding & a few cars had to pull over because they couldn't climb the hills.
