+1. I find that women love to tell themselves that "men love curves." But the reality is that most white men seem to prefer very thin women. And having A/B cup breasts and a little "speed bump" butt is not having "no boobs or butt" as larger women like to say. Its feminine, and being thin/slight is feminine, and men like it.

Many black and Latino men prefer curves—and by curves, I don’t mean plus size necessarily. You can be petite but curvy.

This. I have been an assistant in financial services and legal services firms for 30 years. These offices are full of wealthy white men and, almost without exception, these men all have bone-thin, white wives. All the mistresses and flings are curvaceous, sexy, and often of color. The skinny wife is as much for image as the big house is. And she is viewed as a possession, not a valued human being, which is why these men cheat so flagrantly and use every excuse to avoid their wives, while spending a lot of time with their other women.

All of this is subjective. I am black and curvy. Nothing short of an eating disorder is getting rid of this ass and these ta-tas. I just roll with it and try to avoid rolls.

I have a couple of black women friends who are naturally very thin and they complained that black men weren't especially interested in them they got more attention from white men so that's who they dated and married.

I have also seen the phenom above where the rich guy is married to the thin white woman but cheating with curvy/shapely women. Not sure if the wife is a trophy and the other women are what he is attracted to OR more open to being side chicks, but for sure he is a cheating piece of trash.

These offices are full of wealthy white men and, almost without exception, these men all have bone-thin, white wives. All the mistresses and flings are curvaceous, sexy, and often of color. And she is viewed as a possession, not a valued human being, which is why these men cheat so flagrantly and use every excuse to avoid their wives, while spending a lot of time with their other women.

Rich men have thin wives not because they want a woman with a boy body but because the women are expected to look that way in their circle. The men wouldn't care if their wives gained a few pounds and would actually prefer it.

Assistant PP here. Maybe you're right. I don't know for sure why the wives often look like dried up husks, but they almost always do. I have assumed that it's because these men think a thin, white woman is who is socially advantageous to be seen with, even as their actual tastes vary.

Assistant PP here. I used to think the wives had it made until I had a front row seat to a nasty divorce one too many times. A lot of these wives live insecure lives because the money comes and goes with the man's favor. When I first started, it was unheard of for men to get custody, so the wives at least got child support. Now, men are fighting for custody of children they barely see and I can discern no reason beyond sticking it to the ex-wife. At least mistresses get lucrative gifts with no strings or children attached.

All of this is to say that whether mistress or wife, the women in rich, white men's lives are in precarious positions and I don't envy any of them. I don't see much that is classy about putting up with an asshole because your lifestyle will end if you don't.
