It seems that we live in a society where thinness is associated with wealth and status and being curvy is a sign of lower class masses.
Here are two white wealthy women. Does one look higher class side to body type? |
| yes, i do think that Goop looks higher class. I do also believe that having curves makes you look lower class. Higher end clothes don't fit as well. |
|
| Rolls are low class |
| Thin = you have the time/money to exercise daily and buy healthy food. |
| Goop is crazy. Nothing high class about her! |
| Out of these two women the redhead looks wealthier to me. I think she looks more nobel, while first looks like a girl next door. |
| White women are more likely to be thin without curves than women of color because of body shape not lifestyle. That is why you think curves are lower class. Think about it. |
|
Well only in the sense that clothes tend to hang better on tall, thin women.
It would be hard for Gwen to look bad in anything because she has a great figure and beautiful face and hair. |
Yep. So gross. |
| oh ffs. stop fetishizing thin white women. |
| OP why this obsession about class? |
|
OP here. I ask because usually when a curvy woman is considered "low class" there are the effects of socio-political inferences due to her race. What happens if you remove the race factor and compare two women of the same social status and race. Why do we still think Christina Hendricks looks "lower class"? She too is wearing expensive, well fitted clothes and is styled beautifully.
|
| What a stupid question, OP. You need to get out more. |
| Not this again. |
