Postsecret today: "The most well-endowed men I've been with are anti-gun and don't care about cars.

Clearly shooting ranges are racist then. If they weren't, they'd allow all black people instead of just half of them

I say this with absolute sincerity:

Thank you for your service to your community. We are all incrementally better off for your willingness to do that. Your wife and children are fortunate to have to have someone so willing to protect them. Well done.

If I knew you, I'd buy you a box or two of your chosen home defense ammunition to help maintain proficiency.

What was the name of the person you killed and where did this occur?

I'd bet his name was "Inmate # 538-834" or something similar at some point.

No doubt he was fully rehabilitated, and then paroled.

Why? So you and your idiotic antigun zealot friends can track down the PP and harass him and his family? Like those crazy "Everytown" people did to that single mom down in Georgia last year? Is that why you want those details? So you can stalk them?

Creeps.

The stereotype is pretty true, and at the very least is an indication that they don't know what to do with what they have. Obvious compensation for inadequacy - in size or skill.

Hilarious. You don't know how to properly use the word "sans". I'll take an intelligent, multi-lingual man over a knuckle-dragging mouthbreather like yourself.

I thought about it and I don't have a counter-example - this is spot on for my dating history too. It's almost blatant.

Hmmm. You seem very sexist.

I've always been a car guy. I worked in a machine shop when I was a teen and bought my first car (rusted 66 Mustang) when I was 14. I also grew up on a farm and always had guns around. Most of the guns I have now are inherited hunting rifles. I've also got a pistol that I bought last year just because I always wanted one of this specific gun and they're hard to find.

I don't use them for "home protection". A friend of mine almost shot his wife a few years ago in the middle of the night after a night of drinking. She came around the corner and he had the gun in her face with the hammer back. He's a good guy and he would have never forgiven himself. Luckily it didn't turn tragic. He's like me now - baseball bat under the bed for home protection which is overkill since we live in a relatively safe city.

So, yeah, I've got guns and cars, and also happen to be well endowed. I think the whole topic of cars/guns/dicks being interrelated is just dumb. People just like what they like and the way they live their life doesn't always jive with our own view of the world.

My guess is that PP thinks the other PP is talking out of his ass and is lying about this having happened to him and his family in order to conjure up a sympathetic reason for an otherwise irrational level of gun ownership.

Why are the holders of these views always such poor writers?

1. "then can't defend themselves"

Try, that can't defend themselves

2. "And of course"

Starting a sentence with "And"'. In which Red State were you educated? Perhaps I should say, not educated.

3. "sans an Ikea bookshelf"

It is not impressive to use a fancy word improperly. You really don't know what sans means, do you?

You are correct that I am a poor writer as that hardly needs to be pointed out. To answer your question I received a BS in Biology Cum Laude in the People's Republik of Maryland and a doctorate in medicine in Virginia.

I find it ironic that you are assaulting me as low/no education when the party that you clearly are devoted to relies on low education/low income voters to gain power. It would be those same folks that you claim to be the champion of,...yet here you are to insinuate and insult a stranger's education.

My DH is a die-hard Democrat and an environmental scientist. He's a feminist, believes in marriage equality, racial justice etc. He is the biggest I've been with (9 inches and girthy). And he will get roughneck real fast if he has to.

Does he drive a Prius?

It's too perfect a story.

My DH is anti-gun and doesn't give a darn about cars, he just wants something safe that runs. The bad news is that his "package" is average at best. The good news he really knows how to use it and is more than happy when I tell him when, where and how to use it.
