Jeans shouldn’t be worn to dinner. How hard is it to put on a dress?

Dresses shouldn’t be worn to dinner. How hard is it to put on a spacesuit?

Spacesuit shouldn’t be worn to dinner. How hard is it to wear assless chaps?

(I like this game!)

It’s definitely weird to notice this or care.

Moms have it hard as it is, why can't they wear what's comfortable? Let's be kind.

In certain areas, especially when I visited family in Tennessee, I've noticed that fashionable workout wear is the current "mom uniform". I felt out of place in my jeans.

I live in CO and leggings/athleisure pants are very popular. A person wouldn’t look out of place in jeans at all but I probably would notice someone dressed very fashionably. Leggings are standard mom picking up kids/at a sports event uniform.

Personally, I prefer leggings to most other pants and don’t care about fashion so I don’t put any thought or effort into being fashion forward.

MYOB.

Sorry what? It would look horrible if you wore adult diapers under yoga pants!!! They are skin tight. Super confused by this post.

Are you jealous she gets to wear comfy pants all the time?

Lots of people have moved to athleisure and constant yoga pants. This has been a movement for years. People on DCUM describe their daily ‘uniform’ and it’s typically black yoga pants. They are acceptable at grocery store, PTA functions, a walk, being at home, driving the kids to sports, etc. It’s just easy and comfortable. Black goes with everything. Why is this even a thread? There is nothing at all wrong, Op. Nothing. And, some of these yoga pants are quite expensive!

A dress to dinner?
Ok nerd. I wear dresses to weddings only.

I have nobody to impress and no reason to dress up 99% of the time. If I have an interview, funeral, wedding, bar mitzvah I will dress appropriately. Otherwise, who cares?
I agree

I feel like the general social acceptance of yoga pants has changed a lot since this thread was started in 2017.
