I think that if you take the whole thing too seriously then you could be playing with fire. If you are purposefully making an effort to contact spirits...especially if there is already a negative, brooding energy in the room.

But it doesn't take something specific like a Oujia board to bring on trouble. A Oujia board is just packaged cardboard and plastic.

I can't believe the weird stories posted here. When I was a kid my father and I played with a oujia board all the time. It was never scary. It mostly just cracked jokes and insulted people. It referred to itself as "Baby Charles."

When I was a teenager, my friends and I made a ouija board out of strips of paper and used a wine glass as a planchette. It "worked". Of course I can't say for sure one of us wasn't moving it. Come to think of it, we each only placed one finger on the glass....The last time we used it, the light bulb in my lamp (coincidentally) went out after we asked when one of us was going to die. Scared us senseless!

I will enlighten you. DP. I am an avid Supernatural fan, and clearly your have to wear or have a tattoo of a certain symbol, plus it looks really hot on Sam and Dean, so that's a bonus. Then you must have a lot of salt on hand, and make sure that you are in the circle protected by salt. You know, ghosts can't cross a salt barrier, then you must have a lot of holly water on hand, added bonus, Dean looks hot when you throw water on him and he is all wet. Hence, before you know it Oujia board become a water fight, and since they are teens, best to be in bikinis and swimming shorts as who wants to get their clothes wet?

This is a NP. It's sounds like most of the people on this board are not taking this seriously. You're all very lucky that nothing terrifying has every happened that you couldn't explain.

However, if there's anyone who is planning to use a board there are a few simple rules that you should follow in order to have a good experience.
