It might just be that fashion houses don't want to be associated with the Trump brand so she basically has to dress herself. I imagine Michelle Obama had every notable designer begging her stylist to wear their stuff because the Obama's were much more liked in the US and frankly around the world. Kinda like how the biggest starts at the Oscars always get the best dresses and jewelry and hair styling and all that good stuff.

+1 just seems like she's dressing herself. With the exception of inaugural outfits, mostly she's in current designer items that are available online.
