See below for examples:

Chanel

etc etc

If you turn on the TV or flip through a magazine, you'd think ugly women and old women do not exist.

And overseas, older women try to look more like that last model than like Aunt Bee. Don't lop off your hair and wear spandex on the hiking trail. You'll get noticed.

If I am hiking 40 miles up a mountain, damn right I am wearing spandex. FYI In Europe, and especially in Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, etc.., the traditional view of women is to perform feminity (i.e. the example of above). I am not getting dressed up, wearing make-up, etc.l, but there is a place and time.

While the 22- and 23-year-olds were fun, and I really liked a couple of the 40-year-olds, the two who stole my heart were 48 and 50. Smart, accomplished, beautiful, sexy as hell. I just think about either one of those women and I'm physically excited.

Yep but they are not..do a little research about older women, menopause and sex drive. Being over 50, you most likely are relieved there is no expectation of having sex.

Yeah that is a bit of a stretch. Maybe I am the exception cause the man I am see is 39 and I am 54. Only thing I feel relieved about is not having to worry about birth control. Menopause isn't a death toll of sex, I can promise you that

+1. I am 51 and my boyfriend is 30. We have a great sex life. I am beautiful and a goddess according to him?

^according to him!

The photo was not posted by op. The poster of the photo has no idea what op looks like. But somehow a photo out of nowhere confirms your white suspicions? Wow, now there's an honest admission of prejudice. Thanks for the honesty.

I didnt proofread before i clicked. First, women in Europe aren't as fat as they are here - men too of course, better diet, walking everywhere - and they seemed also to care more about how they look, and they try to dress more stylishly. Second, middle-aged women often seem to want to be invisible with the hairdos they choose. I'm on Match; the androgynous looking ones get put at the back of the list. I want to date a woman, not her brother. Third, if you do want to be noticed, do wear something spandexy.

Older women are hot. Older men, less so.

If you look at any ranking, like People's sexiest men and women, and so on.. the average age of the men on that list is a lot higher than the average age of the women on that list.

About half of the last 10 men on the list have been 40+:

compared to 2 women in the last 12 years:

You care what is in People Magazine? That's a problem right there. Women in magazines, Esquire, Sports Illustrated, Victoria's Secret, Playboy even: too young, too bony. Someone give that swimsuit model (ok, not Kate Upton) a burger and a shake. It's as if the guys doing the casting are really interested in young men.

My wife was gorgeous at 40. From my mid-50s vantage point, all sorts of women my age and younger are quite noticeable. A lot of women my age want to be invisible though, with those hairdos.

+1000

I am a lesbian and I often wonder if the men who claim to lust after swimsuit models are secretly gay or bi and trying to hide it by claiming interest in a societally sanctioned idea of what is beautiful. Swimsuit models do nothing- NOTHING for me. I will take a women with curves anyday

Just to prove you right, I offer take your extra swimsuit models and engage in an extensive study to determine whether or not I am secretly gay.

It's a sacrifice, no doubt, but I will be fully committed to it.

Women's physical beauty starts to bloom at around 16, blossoms at around 18-22 and then stays slowly decreases until we hit 30. Then all of a sudden that youthful glow is gone. The moment we turn 30 and start to look like "women" and not girls, we are invisible to society.

How should we deal?
