How much was your wedding dress/link

I bought off the rack from a place that used to be on Rockville Pike. can't remember the name now. $500, with another $150 for alterations. It was a two-piece with buttons down the back and I absolutely still love it. 15 years ago.

We probably spent less than $10k on the whole wedding.

Mine was about $4,000, an Angel Sanchez in silk gazar, bought from Riziks about 12 years ago. Spaghetti straps, simple design but with rippling panels down the skirt. Love that dress so much years later. Total wedding cost was abut $30,000.

The Sophia! That's what I had (I couldn't remember the style name). On sale for under $300, probably because it was ice blue. It was exactly the dress I wanted.

I spent $500 on my dress - super simple like some of the J Crew styles - but from a bridal shop.
Our wedding in total was around $40k including my dress and my husband's clothes. My husband spent much more on dark suit from Brooks's Brothers and new shoes. I'll never wear my dress again and I donated it to a charity. However my husband wears that suit several times a year.

Overall budget was $7500, and ended up spending about $8000. The key was having the wedding somewhere other than DC.
