how much do you pay for preschool/daycare?

$650/week for two preschool aged kids, four days/week, in Bethesda. We pay weekly because they don't go FT. Worth every penny, even when it was more when they were younger.

What center in Georgetown is only $1,875 for an infant? That is a lot cheaper than others we have seen around there.

I'm the pp who has a one year old at park street. So glad you are liking it! We are too! 1800 is the monthly full time price under 24 months.

Preschools are different from daycares. So you should probably clarify which ones you mean. Preschools operate like schools, i.e. you pay tuition twice a year, they're only open during certain times of year (not summers) and they typically close at around 3pm.

Some preschools operate like that. But many do not. Many have full days and run through the summer. They are still preschool.

Except for preschools that don't. Plenty of preschools around here operate full year and are full day. Many of these also have programs for younger kids, but that doesn't mean the programs for kids 3-5 are not preschools.
