how much do you pay for preschool/daycare?

Lorton, 2 y/o $280 week in center. Includes all food.

I'll have a newborn starting in Decmeber and she will be $312 a week, but I'll then get a 10% discount on the 2 y/o.

So altogether about $2444 a month.

NP here - people are typically posting here for amount per week, but are you all actually paying weekly? When we did our tours, we learned about the fees per month; it was never mentioned to go weekly.

Do people usually pay weekly? We pay monthly. As far as I know there is no weekly option at our center - unless you do some kind of emergency drop-off, but that is a daily rate.

You quoted my post ... that is why I was surprised, so far, I'd only been quoted monthly rates. I don't know how it works about paying weekly, and I'm surprised quite a few posters are noting the rate per month.

$275/week

Put off preschool for a year b/c we prefer a more play-based multi age setting. All of the preschools close to here are SO aCademic and have very little outdoor time or free play.

Will be sending infant soon, which will be $305/wk. But we will get a 10% discount on the older one.
