Cruz Ad Slut Shames Trump's Wife

Anonymous
Heidi Cruz was a senior regional investment banking exec with Goldman Sachs at the height of the economic collapse (and Goldman Sachs was key architect of the bundling scheme that caused the collapse) - I wonder if she had a rule....?

I'm obviously not a woman, but do any of the women out there think that Trump might be more vulnerable with women on this point? The idea that he is constantly "trading up"?

I don't think he traded up. He married melania in her 30s and divorced his ex wives in their early 40s. He would have traded up by now if he wanted to but he's been with melania 11 yrs now. Stop with lies please.

Next month I'll have been married for 20 years to my first and only wife. Maybe you consider three wives with the longest lasting for 11 years to be a normal experience. But, it is not something to which I can relate and I definitely didn't lie.

Does anyone know if Grubhub delivers popcorn? I'm going to need it in bulk.

I haven't read anything negative ever about Cruz's wife. I do know she's gone public about her history with depression, which I think takes some guts to make public. Otherwise I thought she was a smarty pants managing director at Goldman Sachs.

she made MD at GS 9 days after Ted won his senate seat.

yeah i really believe she was tapped to become MD by lloyd and the committee absent of that.

She doesn't want to brawl in trump in public. Trump would hammer her so hard, she would check back into the looney bin.

Wow, since you arrived at DCUM you have made anti-black posts, anti-Muslim posts, and now this. All the while claiming to be a liberal. I really think you are the one who may be suffering from mental health issues and I think you should probably find a website that would be a better fit for you than DCUM. You are no longer welcome here.

Plenty of liberal racists who are minorities too you know

When they are bashing people with mental health issues on DCUM, be sure to point it out to me. BTW, that poster claims to be a liberal.

I think as vulnerable as Hillary Clinton w what seems to be a power marriage of convenience.

Yeah, like that's never been the case with a presidential candidate before.

Exactly. I'm not sure either will make waves. I am a little tired of the fashion plate first ladies though. The Obama's dress and party like Hollywood royalty and I'm assuming Trumps would be more of the same. Its getting old, especially with so much of the country in poverty.

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying you'd prefer that a First Lady dress in ugly or cheap clothes? Or do you mean you want to separate the job of head of state from spouse of president? Who would you prefer to be the head of state, if not the First Family?

Yes, I think the level of fashion from Jackie O on has gotten extreme. Why are our presidents spouses dressing on the level of royalty, lady Diana? I like Michelle Obama when she's wearing J crew (which is not cheap/synthetic). Buy or borrow a nice gown for big events but does she have to wear a $5000 Carolina herrara to disembark a plane in Cuba? Seems more Eva Peron to me.

There's a 30+ page thread discussing Mrs. Obama's wardrobe in the Entertainment forum.

Michelle Obama gets criticized no matter what. Sleeves or sleeveless. Designer or off the rack. It doesn't matter.

Agreed. But there's a much more appropriate read for that discussion.

"My opponent's wife is smoking hot!"

Yeah that sounds like a winning strategy there, Ted.

What a dumbass.

The point is do you want to have the First Lady whose best asset is a naked butt?

The First Lady has always dressed nicely (and has generally been criticized for it). That's her job.

Does she even pay for those dresses? I assume many of them are borrowed for free and she returns them to the designers. It's a huge amount of free publicity and Ms. Obama has made careers for multiple U.S. designers .

It's been around since Nancy Reagan. Move along. Nothing to see here.

No offense but you're not a billionaire so you really can't compare.
