Little shits shoplifting in Bethesda

Anonymous
I knew kids in high school who worked at the mall and would shoplift from the "fill your own bag" candy place on their breaks. They did it purely for the dare and the thrill of the danger of getting caught. It is a weird teenage dynamic: getting a thrill from a danger of consequences you don't believe will ever happen to you.

So reporting it to three employees of the store counts as "nothing?" Yeah, no, sorry. I just wanted my damn lunch.

Well, not if the employees in turn do nothing about it. You know darn well this is wrong and you aren't doing anything about it other than complaining on DCUM. At least name the store so that we can call the police about it since we are adults.

....did you read the original post and the clarifying posts following it? Named the store, location, etc. Come on now!

I shoplifted in middle and high school. Can't explain why, was not hungry. Some negative consequences or getting scared by an adult would have helped me. But I did it alone vs in groups, I was a weird and often lonely kid.
