You guys are really really horrible, mean, judgmental people. She is hired to be a principal. She has no obligation to share her personal family matters. Picking her apart before she has stepped foot in the city is pathetic. I pray that my kids are not the same age as yours/won't be attending Wilson with you. Really sad. Get a life. You're almost on the boarder as being perceived as racist and sexist. Imagine if she would have said that she was moving to Gaithersburg. She is actually moving INTO the city and people are finding things to bitch about. I don't recall Cahall or any other principal getting this amount of scrutiny.

Hmmmmm. Seems to to me that you're the most judgmental of the bunch. Calling people names, ignoring the valid reflections based on PUBLIC interviews she's chosen to give, making irrelevant comparisons.

Almost choked when I read your post. Dr. Wilma Bonner departed Wilson under a cloud of suspicion. Fake classes, grade changes, etc. She coddled those very same academy coordinators.

nope....I (pete cahall) cannot be found on speed dial...I will start my new opportunity on Wednesday....looking forward....not looking back....but I miss and will always be her for the Wilson scholars....I wish the new principal well and good fortunes....I hope that she realizes that she is inheriting an incredible school community.....

Are you a bunch of idiots.....she got a gym membership and was guaranteed that her son would be permitted to attend Wilson....supposedly she (they) had the choice between SWW or Wilson....they choose Wilson even before she decided where to live.....So I want to hear from all of those parents outside of the Wilson boundary that would also like to make a deal with Henderson and the Mayor to allow their child to attend Wilson or any school of choice....wake up and smell what is rotten.....

That's nothing new. Fenty kids got special privileges as well. It comes with the job, like a bonus check.
