The money train is over, though. I can't imagine TLC will continue the show now. |
I don't watch the show but this happened long ago that TLC should have done some due diligence. That is horrifying that the parents did nothing.
We had a neighbor who was about 10 and tried to get me to do stuff, and at 18-19 was arrested for molesting his sisters and her friends. |
Honest question for someone more knowledgeable than me, but how does this happen that a 10 year old becomes this kind of a sexual perpetrator? Is it almost always a sign of the 10 year old having been abused by someone else? Our son is only 4 and we talk to him about private parts and what's appropriate and what's not, but hearing this kind of thing is terrifying to me. |
The question is, was this information given to TLC?
How on earth could they not know? The show should be cancelled, but if TLC continued renewing the show knowing this information, that is reprehensible. |
If he were, would the girl automatically be the victim? |
With 14 year olds consensually fooling around, there is no victim. With family molestation, whoever instigates the sickening behavior, is NOT the victim - regardless of gender. |
He was either molester or evil or "other".. Meaning we don't really know. Unfortunately this happens more often than you think. 14 is still juvenile and if it happened in the DMV most likely the child would not get charged, would get a psychological evaluation and some counseling. |
Anna thinks that people will believe her when she tells them that she knew about this as soon as she met Josh? Come the fuck on. "When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes. I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same time didn't know why he was sharing it. For Josh, he wanted not just me but my parents to know who he really was – even every difficult past mistakes." |
Oh, this looks really bad....
"when Josh returned home in 2003, Jim Bob, accompanied by some of his church elders, took Josh to Arkansas State Trooper, Jim Hutchens. Jim Bob knew Hutchens personally. Hutchens did not take any official action and instead gave Josh a “very stern talk.” As In Touch magazine reports exclusively in this week’s issue, Hutchens is now serving 56-years in prison for child pornography. He took no action on the Duggar case." |
So by his acknowledgement he was 15. His mom was 20 when she got pregnant with him. There is no way counseling and God cure ailments like that. TLC should ashamed of themselves. |
No way Anna knew he molested his sisters before she married him. No way. |
Sounds like she knew and her FAMILY knew. ![]() |
I hope one (or all) of the girls has the courage to leave their cult, and speak out.
Some of the Phelps family have, and those girls are incredibly courageous and brave. |
So a young teen admitted to and got help for what he did wrong. Fuck him right?
Let me guess if he were black or atheist we'd be giving him a medal. |
