Unfortunately I don't agree and I would venture to say it's probably the least known of that group of elite liberal arts schools although it's a great school

Johnson and Wales in Providence, RI. It's worked its way up from a cooking and hospitality to school to a regular university. Currently it's an expensive school for mediocre students, but students love it, love the location and campus. And it's very close to the very respectable Brown and RISD. I think if J&W put some money into attracting stronger students, it could move out of safety school territory.

Northeastern U in Boston already seems to be making this transition. They've been giving generous aid to attract higher performing students, and I think the coop aspect of the University is attractive in this pre-professional age.
