Isn't Smithfields the largest US pork producer owned by Chinese now? Are they sneaking in Chinese pork to the US line? Multiple recalls.

The hog confinements these animals are raised in are truly disgusting. They animals live in their own filth. I grew up next to one and haven't eaten pork in years.

Exactly right, the pork smells like feces because of the way the pigs have been raised - close to each other, breathing the air day and night that smells like feces. The pork in Europe, or if pigs are raised in the open do not smell like the meat from Walmart or ALDI etc. in USA. So if you have never tried properly raised pork, don’t make dumb comments thinking that this is the way pork should smell.
