I wish they'd kick out Perry St Prep and install Lee in their place. |
That building is too big for Lee |
Give lamb the other half. |
Isn't Lee in partnership with the new Montessori? Wouldn't that enable those two schools to 'fit' Perry St? |
Do developers get any kind of "public good" credit or anything of the like to offer space to schools etc? It would be interesting to see Lee or the new charter look at spaces that aren't just surplus school buildings. |
Some Charters are already in office buildings or warehouses. Not sure if they get a discounted rate or not. |
501c3s receive tax abatements |
It's absolutely Perry Street. LAMB is moving out. |
Interesting. Where is LAMB going? Is this a permanent space for Lee? |
Like I've been saying, way back when the admins let it slip that it would be Perry St so not surprising. |

Spoke with a LAMB teacher. There is no expectation they will be able to move to Walter Reed for next 3 years. |

LAMB is not moving out of Perry Street anytime soon. No place to send their kids right now since Walter Reed is not done + they have a 10 year lease on the building and just might keep it, even after Walter Reed is done. |
