Conveniently, the myschooldc site lets you set up a search for schools within one mile of Lee. You can also run the search for a 1.5 mile radius.
Charters that meet the 1-mile criteria are: DC Prep - Edgewood Middle William E. Doar DC Prep - Edgewood Elementary Hope Community - Tolson Harmony DC - School of Excellence Howard U Math and Science Middle School Creative Minds (new location) |

There are a couple more if you do 1 mile as the crow flies, rather than 1 mile driving distance. |

Pretty sure myschooldc IS mapping as the crow flies - Howard U PCS is listed as 0.88 miles away from Lee, but that assumes you are swimming through McMillan Reservoir. Regardless, there are definitely several more schools that would fall in the 1.5 miles radius, if that is how things shake out. |

Wasn't there talk last year that Doar might be shutting down? Maybe that's what Lee has its eyes on. |
