For Russian - Marivanna downtown is pretty good and the deserts remind me of my childhood. It's a bit pricy for a Russian restaurant (IMO) but I like it. Rus-Uz in NoVa is good, looks like a larger version of my grandma's kitchen and is cheaper (has both Russian and Uzbek food). |
+1 Yes!!! A real bagel place. There have been some pop-ups that have been really good, but it would be nice to have a permanent great bagel place. |
Where do you go for Indian-Chinese in Toronto? My folks' favorite place growing up was Federick's in the GTA. |
] Yes, this. I'm from Toronto and I basically just don't go out for Chinese food when I'm in DC because it has been uniformly disappointing. |
DGS Deli in Dupont Circle imports Montreal bagels -- you can eat them in the restaurant or order a bunch to take home. |
| A garlic restaurant. |
