The article says her body was found behind an abandoned home in a dried up creek bed. It was not buried.

May have been uncovered by recent rains.

How does your sweet, innocent baby boy grow up to be a rapist and a murderer? I don't undstand.

I am not in this field, but I would think so, depending upon how much DNA was there to begin with. Forensics teams can do wonders with clothing and bodies that have been around for years. I recently saw a Dateline or 48 hours in which DNA was found on a quilt from a murder many years ago that had been exposed to elements for a while after the murder. It really depends upon the amount and type of DNA, I would think.

Link from PP indicates a skull and bones were found.

Maybe mental illness or he was brought up in a abusive/violent/dysfunctional environment.

Body found is near Old Lynchburg Road between Red Hill Road and Plank Road.

This is between where Jesse went to elementary school and high school.

Jesse's elementary school Red Hill Elementary school is 3 miles away. His high school Monticello is about 5 miles away other side.

He went back to where he grew up, old familiar locations.

Basically a parent's worst nightmare. I really can't imagine what her parents are feeling tonight. They saw video of their daughter's last hours, to include her walking around in distress, and encountering the person suspected of killing her. They probably wonder if she died scared. My heart goes out to them.

So glad there was video footage of her. That helped the police catch the monster.

That's a nice thing to say, ie that God helped guide them to find her so the family could have closure.

Morgan's parents were medical professionals, and said their daughter's remains indicated she met a violent death, bones broken, etc. given the accused's size, it makes sense now

There is scientific evidence that the brains of serial killers are different in their structure

My prayers are with them.

So how can the hair disintegrate, so quickly? I thought hair and nails took the longest. Wondering if it's even her?
