It's amazing to me how beauty is in the eye of the beholder. On looks alone (and I realize how superficial we all are), I'd put Stacy squarely as a 5 to 5.5. She's not ugly, but pretty plain and average. I'd put Amal at a solid 7.5.

But, I am wondering why are these playboys marrying when they are middle-aged? Yes, George Clooney is handsome - but he is a handsome middle aged man. He looks like some young teens or twenty somethings's dad! I think it is so sad that these young wives get their hands on middle aged guys. He can only look worse from here on now.

My DH was in his 20s when we married and he grew more handsome in his 30s and 40s...he is still good looking in his 50s - but I have had him at his hottest for all these years. And our kids are grown up - so there is a major sense of having lived our lives with each other. Amal is getting George at the beginning of his golden years.

I do wish them happiness and a chance of having a wonderful family.
