Size 14? I am a size 20 5'8" and 220. Married for 20 years. Was 200lbs when we married.

It's possible if she carries weight in her chest, arms and legs. That said, I am an 18 and weigh less than her at the same height. I have a big ole apple belly and toothpick legs, though.

You aren't a size 14.
I am 5ft 7 and 171lbs and I am a size 14.

You're an absolute moron, or perhaps you have no muscle mass and osteoporosis. That's gotta suck.

Oh yes you figured me out.lol.

Ah, but you figured out OP, "lol?"

Honestly, unless you're a UK size 14 (verses a US 14), you really have to have no muscle and very little bone mass to be a size 14 at your height and weight.

Whatever helps you cope. I walk a lot and I do work out though not a ton.

If you're 120 lbs, but still feel the need to be a hateful bitch to someone who's bigger, are you any better off?

OP, there will be guys who will date you at your current size. There will be even more who will want to date you if you drop another 40 lbs. There are quality men in either category. Whatever you do, don't let any desperation creep in on your search. Be yourself and let the chips fall where they may.

OP, I was your weight. I lost 50 pounds with Jenny Craig. I get hit on ALL the time now.

They're more fat now but I still have some when I'm at a healthy weight. This thread is actually starting to make me feel worse. Sorry for starting this.

Keep it up. I was a size 14, bordering on a 16, although only at about 190 lbs. I have lost 30 lbs and have 10 to go, and have dropped to a size 10. I feel 1000% better both health wise and confidence wise. I also think people in general respond much better to me when I am not overweight. Another 30 lbs and I suspect your confidence will attract people.

I dated a woman 5'5 who was curvy and could have lost a few pounds so yes, I would date you. I don't like anorexic sticks and love big boobs. Funny thing is, I am a gym rat.

I would date women who need to lose a few pounds, but 215 isn't in the category of needing to lose a few pounds. 215 is veering on morbid obesity.

This is it. 170-180 at that height - big yes but no obese. Agree w pp who said the issue is lack of awareness.

Excellent advice.

Yes, exactly. So if pp is a UK 14, it may make sense that they don't believe OP. Or it might make a bit more sense with regards to their (lower) weight. I was a solid (US) 14 in pants at 5'3", and 185 lbs, in pretty much every store - from Loft, to Banana Republic, J.Crew, Gap, etc - most major retailers.

Weight can vary significantly from people with otherwise similar stats. Whether OP wants to or should lose weight is one thing, but muscle and bone density do factor in considerably in poundage from person to person.

That said, if OP said they were 560 lbs and a size 14? I wouldn't believe them. But in the lower 200s? Absolutely.

I really hate when overweight people say they are curvy. Your curves are made out of fat, right? And, lots of overweight women have large boobs, and stomachs, and backs, and necks...

Why would op lie?

No, I would not. I'm very athletic and like a woman who can keep up. No way could you haul yourself on a 25mile bike ride at a good clip.

At the same time, I would also not date a thin person who was not fit. I love athletic frame that is thicker...but I'm talking volleyball player.

Also overweight men have big boobs as well.
