Every Indian and Indian American that I know believes that they are better than whites. They also believe that if something bad happens involving a white person, it "must be jealousy."

Why don't you wait to find out why one student murdered another student?

You all would have been jumping up and down if a Black person would have killed this girl. But when it comes to White person murdering some other race you will try and find all kind of excuses.

Asians are not better than whites, but whites cannot bear the achievements of the Asian kids - they will laugh about it and minimize it and are plain jealous about it. Whites think that their kids should get these accolades. I say that only white parents have 5 star ambitions for their kids, while the kids will put in 1 star effort .

Now go ahead and vilify this victim and make a case for why she deserved to be killed by a white girl.

White woman did not murder her for being a woman of color. White woman murdered her for getting into medical school and doing well in school and for having a good family. Things that are not rare among Asian students, but this was something the accused was jealous and resentful about.

You say that like if it is/was a FACT. Unless you have inside information, why wouldn't you say "I think…." You are just speculating….

I for one find it much harder to believe it was because one student was so jealous and envy of her "friend" getting into medical school! To me, it is much more plausible to think it was somehow related to a guy - but I am just speculating because i knew neither of these girls.

Just human behavior in general.

Nope, I would say the same thing. A family is reeling from the death of their CHILD right now and the last thing they'll ever need to stumble upon is this thread with all of its asinine theories. If/when the motive comes out, then it would be more appropriate to discuss those involved.

I think in general that you are right. I don't know if this is at play here, but there is definitely a bias.

I also agree with the above poster who says until we have more info, this is all speculation. Jealousy is possible, a boyfriend is possible, stealing is possible. But, unless you have inside knowledge, it is all speculation.

What would prompt a bunch of young adults with their whole lives ahead of them to kill someone and completely ruin the future of everyone involved? Surely whatever it was could not be worth spending the rest of your life in prison and taking away a person from her family forever.

Mass murder/mass wounding the worst in United States history , then a code is beheaded in the dining hall, then a VT grad shoots up fort hood killing and wounding dozens, then a VT coed is abducted and left dead in a field, then a cop is shot in the face and killed on campus, now a coed is murdered by fellow students and left in a sleeping bag in the backseat of her car.

How many national championships or Nobel laureates does VT have? None.

I can't believe the random speculation here - nobody knows why these three students behaved like monsters. What matters is that a bright young woman with a very promising future before her lost her life in a horrible way, and that her murder only compounded the tragedy her family had already experienced from the death of another sister. It's just awful, and you can't sit around and try to figure out "why" - whatever the motives of the murderers were, they will come out eventually I'm sure.

My theory is that the killer had a crush on the victim for years. Propositioned victim. Victim rejected her and killer went nuts. I have no basis for this and will probably be bashed.
