This is very similar to us 36 and 37 $8.5m, none inherited (in fact we are helping my parents financially). A substantial amount of our net worth is generated from a business I started from scratch, but put the profits into other investments (mainly real estate). I think wealth accumulation is a combination of work, skill a tolerance for calculated risk and some luck. |
I have to say, it is refreshing to see someone who admits that there is a luck component to financial success. So rare. No totally luck, but some part of it. Kudos to you, PP, your success is well deserved. |
