Anonymous

At $10k.

Anonymous
44 --4+million (with husband).
Anonymous
$23,367,371

I calculated it out.

43, about 0.
At least I am not negative!
Anonymous
34, 1.6M assets, $300k debt, 1.3M net.

35, net worth of $350,750 (me and my husband combined)

I feel secure in that number, but motivated to keep contributing to it.

Same here. About 1/4 of it equity in house, 1/4 stock grants from employer, 1/4 savings from salaries, 1/4 gifts from DH's family over many years (always invested and never spent).

That's right about where I am, and I thought that was pretty good until I read the other replies. Effing DCUM.

Half the people here are bull shitters. Living vicariously through some anonymous posting, to some unachievable prestigious status that they will never achieve.

Give me a break. "How much is your net worth"? Pathetic, much?

And P.S. - when you die, you die ALONE, without all your riches. Better start praying for absolution now.

I think you protest too much. Sounds like you shouldn't read threads like these if you want to have a good day.

Net worths of $5-10 million are high, but there are well-paid people in this area. The numbers would be far more astounding in serious start-up or hedge fund/investment banking territory.

This. My friends at hedge funds are my age (30) and are sporting $5 to $10M type figures already. Most of them make close to seven figures, some well into the seven figures and one of them made nearly $100M in 2011. His compensation even made the NYT. Its all relative.
