You know who I am, and I think the first one is the best (and with those shoes, too).
The second one is nice, too, but I like the first better. I usually love red, but I think the neckline on the third dress is too high. |
| The first dress looks great for your figure, but doesn't seem like something you would wear to a wedding. Two and three gives you no shape at all! I hate to say it, but try again. |
Two is dull, three makes you look like you have no waist at all. One is the best, but even so, it's not saying summer wedding to me at all. OP, you look great - be confident enough to branch out a bit and try some more up-to-date colors and styles. And you might have to spend a bit more too to get a well-constructed dress. The last two look cheap you can do this OP! Why all the effort? Someone you used to date gonna be there?
|
| #1 is flattering. the neckline, color blocking, and the shoes work great with your curves. |
OP here. Well, so much for a clear consensus!
Nah, going with DH. But I don't dress up very often and I enjoy planning, so I think it's fun to dwell on it. As for more up-to-date colors and styles, I nominate you to find me such a dress with short or elbow-length sleeves. I'm pretty sure I've ordered every possible option. I really don't feel comfortable exposing my upper arms because I lost a lot of weight and now have saggy, stretchmarked skin up there, in addition to a wicked farmer's tan. |
| I like 1. I like the shoes in 2 though. Can you wear dress one and shoes 2? I can't totally tell if they go together. |
+1 |
| OP here. I thought dress 1 with shoes 2 looked too busy, but I'll try it again. |
| The first one. With the shoes you are wearing. The black dress/black shoes works for your skin tone. |
| After with you OP, dress 1 with shoes 2 is too busy. |

I think they have a lot of what you are looking for in terms of sleeve length and occasion. I did not have time to weed through all of the selections, because my laundry beckons me. Good luck!

Those are some seriously hideous dresses. |
OP, I voted for 1, but my 5yo and 2yo daughters liked 3

OP, you have fair skin and need colors that are less harsh (a little self-tanner would help too). Also, sleeves that hit at the largest point of the arm make you wider, either 3/4 sleeves or sleeveless are more flattering. These are all under $80
