To see the difference between a general education classroom and a Level IV classroom in delivery of elements of the AAP curriculum, see the presentation below, particularly starting at slide 27.

This is way OFF topic. The issue is differences in AAP curriculum between centers and base, NOT GE and AAP.

Since so many "qualify" it would be extremely easy to encorporate the curriculum into the base school.

This has already been done in some areas of the county. The delivery of the curriculum is different in AAP Centers as compared to the base school.

How so?

DP,
The article doesn't address the question raised above, it focuses on a pilot program to over such services in ALL classrooms.

The question raised above is "to encorporate [sic] the curriculum into the base school" and the article delineates how that is being done already in some areas of the county.

You are absolutely correct, thank you!

This is way OFF topic. The issue is differences in AAP curriculum between centers and base, NOT GE and AAP.

How is this different between AAP and GE?

How are you defining "base?" If you are defining "base" as the neighborhood school, then that would be a "regular" school, as in one that does not have an AAP Center but "only" has GE.

If you are defining "base" as a school with Local Level IV, then that is a different scenario. There is no difference between the intended curriculum at a Level IV Center and at a Local Level IV classroom. However, the peer groups are different and (therefore) the delivery is different.
