Wow OP.

How old are you, really? You sound like an insecure, catty byotch. Why don't you take a good look at yourself?

I believe OP thinks he is 'male'.

So, that would mean he is an insecure, petty prick.

You man haters never stop.

If he says cover up he is an insecure, petty prick.

If he would have said nice ass and stared all day, then he would be a jerk and a pig.

The thing is it doesn't matter how much you try to bring men down. Men still rule the world and hopefully they always will. All of your yapping and nagging isn't going to change a thing.

No, dear. And I quote
Not only was it inappropriate attire but she had the nerve to wear one since she was chubby and maybe in her 40s which made it laughable.
He only cared about the thong in question, because it didn't look as he desired. Yes, that is piggish and jerkish. It was inappropriate regardless of how hot OR sloppy it may have looked. Get it?
If it were a guy with a gut hanging over a speedo, would I post about it and mock them? hell no. If he were a guy with a sick pack and arms built like guns would I post about it? hell no. Live and let live. Kids probably wouldn't notice it until you made a big stink about it...

Female here. I would post and mock the first guy with the disgusting gut hanging over the speedo. And, on I'd hit that Thursday, I'd post about the six-pack guy with the guns.

Anonymous wrote:Once again, what bugs me is her lack of judgement wearing a thong at a family oriented establishment. She has the right to, or entitled to wear what she wants but not at a fricking kids pool. If you are the type that will take your kids someplace like a raunchy pool with strippers in vegas then so be it, enjoy basking in the free country with your kids.

Let's reel this crazy back in a little bit. No one's talking about taking children to the Bada Bing Club. Below is what OP described ... and it sure doesn't sound even close to "Raunchy Splashpark Stripper-Palooza!"

yesterday at a splashpark i saw a woman walking around in a thong. Not only was it inapproriate attire but she had the nerve to wear one since she was chubby and maybe in her 40s which made it laughable. Now if it was an attractive mom wearing one, being a guy, i wouldn't mind it, to be honest, although her lack of judgment would make me think she was european. My kids are not old enough to make it an issue.

PP stance was "it was a free country, women have a right to walk around in a thong." Even at a kids pool. Who's crazy?

if you have loose standards in regards to what your kids are exposed to, don't try so hard to change others who don't, that just makes your morals even more questionable.

The problem I have with your post is that you're equating (a) a chubby 40yo mom with her kids at a splashpark with (b) raunchy pool stripper in Las Vegas. I trust we're all reasonable enough here to know there's a big difference between the two. Do you really think there's no difference?

what the problem is: people on this thread are divided on this issue, the ones who don't think a thong is inappropriate are the ones who are now resorting to name calling, which shows insecurity and can't address things in a civil manner. How childish is that? Maybe you should look at yourself and become more relevant.

OP is an ass, no doubt. But this little gem:

although her lack of judgment would make me think she was european

gave me a good laugh.

Yes, it IS a free country, and thongs are not illegal.

What are you worried about 'exposing your kids to'? Your kids have seen an ass before. Not a big deal.

What do you think is going to happen to your kids because they saw a 40 year old lady in a thong? They won't even think it's a big deal unless you make it seem like it is.

think about it, who the hell would wear a thong at a family pool? someone with a lack of judgement, yes they are perfectly legal and I'm all for it but the point is THONGS do not belong at a kid's splashpark.

I'm still pissed at OP's comment to care about the chubby 40 yo but the hot momma does it- then ok? Why does either one get a free pass?

Yes, it's free choice, go ahead and strut your stuff BUT we will laugh. And someone like OP will start a thread about you and your uh...labia showing from a micro-mini.

Chubby woman over 40 in a thong is pretty gross. If she has enough self-confidence to wear it then she should have even more self-discipline to make her body worth wearing it. Just because you can and are brave enough to do something doesn't mean you should.

Was this the Boyds/Germantown Splash park? I have never seen so many and such heavy people in my life. We're talking 300+ lbs. The women in the 200 lb range were average and the heavy, chubby moms looked thin in comparison.

It is the perfect place to go with your older toddler right after you have #2. You will no longer feel bad about having that post pregnancy body.

You weighed the women? Very inappropriate behavior for a kid-friendly location!

I'm not sure why everyone assumes that it is inappropriate for someone to wear a thong. Do kids actually care / notice this? And assuming they do, is it important that they do? Personally, I think it is pointless to worry about what somebody else is wearing, and I don't think the presence of children really changes the analysis.

I can assure you that the 14-year-old boys notice.
