splashpark=anything goes & kid-friendly, right. Would you be ok if someone's 12 yr old daughter wore a thong.

See above. "If you want everyone to wear what you think is appropriate or attractive, you need to find somewhere else to go, OP." (Although I don't know where that would be. Maybe you'd need to have your very own kingdom.)

On the level of being approriate, a woman wearing a thong with her entire butt cheeks exposed in front of bunch of small kids is totally not approriate.

You know, there are plenty of adult swimming pools for that.

Now, on the flipside if i saw an old, beer-bellied man wearing a skimpy speedo at the splashpark that would be inapproriate as well, or downright nasty and should be escorted out. lol

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe her butt cheeks just ate up the rest of the suit...

You have every right to dislike what you saw. I just wish people would stop trying to control women's bodies, including their clothing.

Try Saudi Arabia? Or one of the other Muslim countries where women need to stay covered.

there is a reason why beaches like miami's south beach has very few kids and mostly adults, since many women go topless and wear thongs.

This discussion is about what's approriate attire around kids. i guess some people think you can dress however you like in front of kids, or "anything goes."

women can go buck naked at a pool far as I'm concerned but go to an adults only pool. (umm...If there is a pool like that in this area please let me know)

While I don't like your delivery, OP, I agree that thongs are inappropriate attire at a splashpark.

Then you don't have to wear one!

Nor should you, I'm guessing.

+1. I'm wondering why every woman is looked at like she's there for decoration, and if the decoration is not pleasing, she's negated. We don't scrutinize men's appearance that way.

Attractive or not, that kind of suit is inappropriate for a family friendly pool.

she seemd to be self-conscious from a far, maybe she was sunbathing somewhere in the corner and had to get up or something.

yesterday, i saw several moms who wore 2 piece bikinis that was approriate and looked comfortable.
