Get over it, OP. Everybody has a pair of butt cheeks. A thong isn't a big deal. She can wear what she wants. Look the other way if it bugs you.

I like to see ass just like any other guy but not at a family establishment setting. If you can not respect that then you probably don't respect values set upon kids; for example, if you have a young daughter you would probably be ok with her roaming around in a thong. To each his own.

I'm the PP you responsed to. (There was a different PP that responded up thread.)

Your assumptions are way off base. I would not allow my DD in a bikini, but I don't care what other people do. This is a free country. If someone wants to walk around in a thing at the splash park, she has the right to do so. I'd rather live here than in a country where women are not allowed to do that.

What bugs you about the thong? Do you not want your kids to see it? Do you take your kids to the mall? I see huge half-naked busty staring back at me from the VS windows. Is it just because the lady was in her 40s? Well, that's another issue.

OP, what exactly is the problem with the lady wearing a thong?

So you would not allow your daughter in a "bikini" or did you mean a thong or 2 piece, but yet according to your values, this is a free country and you will limit to what kind of attire your daughter will be wearing until she gets old enough? What if she says it's a free country and I can walk around in a thong if I want to, you'd be whistling another tune, right?

Once again, what bugs me is her lack of judgement wearing a thong at a family oriented establishment. She has the right to, or entitled to wear what she wants but not at a fricking kids pool. If you are the type that will take your kids someplace like a raunchy pool with strippers in vegas then so be it, enjoy basking in the free country with your kids.

Let's reel this crazy back in a little bit. No one's talking about taking children to the Bada Bing Club. Below is what OP described ... and it sure doesn't sound even close to "Raunchy Splashpark Stripper-Palooza!"

yesterday at a splashpark i saw a woman walking around in a thong. Not only was it inapproriate attire but she had the nerve to wear one since she was chubby and maybe in her 40s which made it laughable. Now if it was an attractive mom wearing one, being a guy, i wouldn't mind it, to be honest, although her lack of judgment would make me think she was european. My kids are not old enough to make it an issue.

PP stance was "it was a free country, women have a right to walk around in a thong." Even at a kids pool. Who's crazy?

if you have loose standards in regards to what your kids are exposed to, don't try so hard to change others who don't, that just makes your morals even more questionable.

The problem I have with your post is that you're equating (a) a chubby 40yo mom with her kids at a splashpark with (b) raunchy pool stripper in Las Vegas. I trust we're all reasonable enough here to know there's a big difference between the two. Do you really think there's no difference?

Wow OP.

How old are you, really? You sound like an insecure, catty byotch. Why don't you take a good look at yourself?

Why do you feel the need to try to mind others business? It sounds like you are missing out on a huge part of life, and need to get one!

There is a time and ol place for everything. Splash park is neither the time or place for a thong or a tiny speedo. Have a little decorum.

I believe OP thinks he is 'male'.

So, that would mean he is an insecure, petty prick.

Nah, I don't think her age had anything to do with it. It was because she was fat, sloppy and flabby, with huge oversized dimples in her butt cheeks. Just because an article of clothing is in your size does not mean you should wear it. I am betting OP would have had a different reaction if it was over 40 yoa Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Anistan, Salma Hayek, Angela Basset or their body look-a-likes.

Man, you're just pissed that your wife won't wear a thong.

You man haters never stop.

If he says cover up he is an insecure, petty prick.

If he would have said nice ass and stared all day, then he would be a jerk and a pig.

The thing is it doesn't matter how much you try to bring men down. Men still rule the world and hopefully they always will. All of your yapping and nagging isn't going to change a thing.

+1. I'm wondering why every woman is looked at like she's there for decoration, and if the decoration is not pleasing, she's negated. We don't scrutinize men's appearance that way.

Then stop painting your faces like prostitutes and stop wearing flashy look at me outfits.

You can protest all day, it doesn't matter. If you carry yourself like a sex object, then that is how people will see you. If most women choose to do the same, then that is how people will see women as a whole- you are sex objects to be criticized and compared. You don't even need men to do it because you "ladies" do a fine job of it yourself. All you do is criticize how other women look so don't act so shocked.

Totally agree, Osama. Women in burkas in public. Shouldn't be painted and wearing flashy outfits.

I hope you are not mistaking your sarcasm for intellect.

Yes, women do have the right to wear a thing AT A SPLASHPARK! She wasn't at the mall. Or at church. WTf?

Do you want to regulate what moms wear to the pool?

No, dear. And I quote
Not only was it inappropriate attire but she had the nerve to wear one since she was chubby and maybe in her 40s which made it laughable.
He only cared about the thong in question, because it didn't look as he desired. Yes, that is piggish and jerkish. It was inappropriate regardless of how hot OR sloppy it may have looked. Get it?
If it were a guy with a gut hanging over a speedo, would I post about it and mock them? hell no. If he were a guy with a sick pack and arms built like guns would I post about it? hell no.
Live and let live. Kids probably wouldn't notice it until you made a big stink about it...

What is a 'look at me outfit' anyway? Please elaborate. A bikini? A mini skirt?

Yes, it IS a free country, and thongs are not illegal.

What are you worried about 'exposing your kids to'? Your kids have seen an ass before. Not a big deal.

What do you think is going to happen to your kids because they saw a 40 year old lady in a thong? They won't even think it's a big deal unless you make it seem like it is.
