Some of the pools have great camps -- ask friends who belong, you need to go with a member. Heard CCRA and Palisades both rock.

We used Camp Sonshine last year and DD loved it. With the bus fees though it's a pricier option so I"m interested in hearing from those that used MoCo camps last year (eastern county side of MoCo). We are looking for a few to supplement some of the weeks with county camps ideally and then do Sonshine again for the rest.

I have signed up for Sidwell summer for my twins already. They enjoyed it last year - and with the early bird and sibling discount it is relatively cheap for a full day! $280/week for full day.

PP: you got more than $100 off for each child? i see on the rates pages that full day camp is $395 per week.

Terrible experience at sidwell for two years in a row.
Sport instructions were terrible and we had unreported head injury.

Yes. Some are good. The ones through the vendors, like mad science, are just like the original ones. Others are not. Had a bad experience through Coach Doug. But generally they are very good. A really good value too.

Do you recall any that were particularly good?

Does anyone know of a useful camp directory? I'm looking for full day camps in DC.
