Things you secretly oppose, but don't want other people to know:

IEPs, especially ones that involve a kid getting a full time 1:1 aide on the taxpayers dime. My rich friend's child has this and I totally oppose it but would never tell her.

+1 Like everyone on this thread apparently. Why oh why do I click these?

+2 Being this judgmental just sounds exhausting to me. How are you people not tired of this?

Yes! Yes! +1,000,000 to shoeless houses and germaphobes. And evangelical Christians. And most Republicans.

Can I tell you something? When you are an inexperienced cook, even when you follow a recipe religiously, your food often flops.

Not.possible. Set timers, use measuring cups/spoons, etc.

Very.possible. You can't really be this dense, can you?

why won't op say whether he/she's an adult adoptee or not????

+1, mainly the ranting sort and also the atheists who love to talk about their atheism even when it's irrelevant to the conversation taking place. I want to say "STFU," but that would be intolerant of me....

I am not the PP, and I can cook myself, but I can kind of see what he or she is saying. If you don't have even a basic understanding of what the terms mean, sometimes the directions can be confusing. The directions are written assuming a certain amount of shared basic cooking awareness. If you do not have even this, you may misinterpret something or misunderstand something. Example:

"Bone the chicken." A non-cook may think, "What? What does this mean? How does one do it?" Etc.

Does that create "discord" as well? Surely, you are just here to stir the pot. No one can be this stupid.

What's the benefit to immigration?

Legal immigrants-usually highly skilled/trained. Some make it clear they're only here for the jobs and have a general disdain for Americans. Rather than rely on these workers, why not focus on training those already in the US?

Illegal immigrants-....Don't get me started.

What are your positives for immigration?

Hi OP maybe we can be friends. It depends on your other dislikes.

Adoption should be a charity-not a business. If anyone is getting paid it should be the mother. You give up your baby for free and then some legally approved seller goes and profits. Sick.

Interracial marriage- I started looking into why people say this and I found that most of the time it is not due to racism. So I agree. It causes problems that are not necessary.

What's with people being against parents choosing to parent instead of outsourcing it. Weird. What kind of communists are you?

I don't know what kind of adoption you are familiar with but ours was non-profit and a charity. Our adoption agency was a nonprofit charity organization. Are you familiar with Catholic Charities?

Says the person who can’t follow a recipe. Oh, the irony.
