McDonalds, Wendy's or Taco Bell? What works best for your family?

I think I love you.

The sanctimommies on this thread are hilarious!

Yeah...I would rather be laughed at than feeding my family crap. Especially after one of my close relatives got horrible health issues after eating fast food 2-4 times a week. A relative is now on a very strict and bland diet, and pays huge money to doctors to treat him and etc.

Yeah, yeah, you're being laughed at, all right!

You are right. And if you make a big deal about never letting your kids have McDonald's when they are small, when they are teenagers ( and no longer in your control), they are more likely to go there. Forbidden fruit always tastes better!

Well, obviously you do, if you keep coming back for more!

What, reading a thread is now considered "coming back for more"? Plain stupid what you just wrote. Makes me think you are one of those who take kids to McD to treat them with something special. Educate yourself about the long term effects of such occasional eating, especially on kids. Maybe then you will stop giving sarcastic comments.

Ever heard of "moderation"?

Do you really think your continued posting on this thread is going to make me stop feeding my kids McDonalds once every 6 weeks or so?

My family fought for this country's freedom for generations.

The fact is, we know what is in McDonald's. We can get the list of ingredients. But can you really say what is in an apple? I don't think even scientists know what is in half our fruit and vegetables, whereas McDonald's is made in factories under hygenic conditions.

In any case, with a part-time job, numerous social commitments, plus going to the gym to keep trim etc. I simply don't have time to "cook" what you would call "real food" from scratch.

Yes, my kids may be a little on the chunky side, but it is all paid for, and I have nothing to be ashamed of. Moreover, when the time comes they will be ready to fight and die for this country, unlike all the vegatarians, who are probably lining up to burn the flag.
Shame on you!

If I had to choose one from your list, I would pick McDonald's. I never eat at Taco Bell, and dh doesn't like Wendy's. My family prefers subway or veggie lovers pizza though.

that said on those nights we choe healthier fast food like district taco or a sub shop.

You would never feed them McDonalds, but Taco Bell is OK? Why?

Try any of those if you want your kids to be morbidly obese. McDonald's doesn't even use what I consider to be real meat! Wendy's is a little better but still high in sodium etc. And taco bell? You're joking right? Disgusting. I agree with the PP maybe Subway or even Panera. Also, I agree with the rotisserie chickens. You don't even have to cook! just snag one of those then sautee some frozen veggies and done.

This is a parody, right? I work full time and my kids get McDonald's about 6 times a year.
