I think you misunderstand. The issue with residency fraud is not out of bounds students. It is out of District. Indeed, more OOD fraud means fewer OOB slots in oversubscribed schools.

Did you find your wife kicking and screaming on the floor next to the computer when you got home?

Well then I refer you back to the thread on how wait lists are managed. If I'm a principal and can pick and choose why wouldn't I pick a kid that comes with a $12k bonus?

Huh? It's not a $12k bonus. If there is an empty/vacant seat that is $16k that the school is not getting from the city. The school gets paid whether its from the city or from the PGer from for that spot.

Hmm...I'm getting a rental this weekend so who knows what tags I'll end up with. Would be great to have MD tags and park in front of DC's charter just to piss off DCUM busybodies.

FYI, I've been a DC resident longer than most of you have lived here.

The meds hadn't kicked in yet, right? Next time don't wait until so late in the day to take them. Never mind- forgot you were a dumb hen. Can't help yourself, huh?

Why would you go through all of that effort? Nothing better to do? Hmmm- you sound awfully busybody-ish. Could you be that dumb hen poster? If not, you've got a kindred spirit out there!

So they technically get LESS if they take a tuition paying non-resident?

No, they get the same, but instead of getting paid by OSSE with state dollars, they get paid by the non DC resident.
