40 plus and hip/ attractive/ fashionable

I don't need to be fashionable/hip but I would love some well-fitting clothes. Any suggestions on good styles or stores for a chunky, short, pear-shaped 40 year old? Skinny jeans, tall boots definitely don't work!

This! For my 40th birthday, I tossed all my bras and bought some nice high end bras. It's made all the difference.
