Do you sleep on a queen or king bed?

Cali king which is ridiculous since it's occupied by only me (5'0") and a toddler. DH takes his snoring into another room most nights and sleeps on an unoccupied twin bunk bed.

We used to sleep on a queen but once the toddler crawling into bed in the morning it got a little a small so we switched to king. If it was just 2 of us I think I'd prefer the queen.

Queen for 10 years, after two years in full-size (don't know how we managed that!). We are both move around a lot in the night and wake each other, so a king would be nice - but our bedroom is too small.

We spent three years in a full before we upgraded to a Queen seven years ago. No problems with crowding each other, and DH is 6'3". Whenever we travel and sleep in a king, it feels really awkward. I'm reaching out for him, like "where are you?!?!"

Queen. Our house is old. The master is small. A king would take up the entire room. We have plenty of room in the queen.

Cracking up at those people who can't fit a king bed in their MB.

Really? it's not that uncommon for an older house. I could technically fit one in my MB, I guess, but there wouldn't be room for much else.

yeah, we have a Queen and I'd love to have a King but our bedroom is too small..sure I could fit it in, but the dresser/bureau and nightstands and stuff would be crowded

Why does this crack you up? In order to have a short commute and a walkable community, we live closer-in...which means an older home with a smaller MB. Not sure how that's hilarious.

Not everybody lives in a McMansion. We may have a queen bed, but our summer electric bills are less than $100/month!

Cal King. Life changing. Would never give it up. Although all bedding must be ordered online because stores usually only carry standard King.

We went with the king size bed upgraded from queen many years ago and never looked back. We moved a lot and lived in very small spaces, but always found that a king size bed fits even in small bedrooms. We usually don't have any furniture in the bedroom if it's small, other than nightstands and a dresser and there is not much space to walk around, but we don't care, since for us the bedroom is pretty much a place for the "bed related activities", so who cares about a couch or a chair. Yes, it may not look good, but we feel more comfortable with the big bed. It was very convenient for co-sleeping with our baby as well.
